Rate Changes

The Clara Water Association recently completed a 1.134 Million-Dollar water well project. In turn, there will be an increase in water rates in order to pay for this project.

CURRENT WATER RATES are below:

RESIDENTIAL:
$22.00 for the first 2000 gallons (Flat rate).
$7.50 per 1000 gallons thereafter.

COMMERCIAL:
$24.00 for the first 2000 gallons (flat rate)
$9.50 per 1000 gallons Thereafter.

NEW RATES are below:

RESIDENTIAL:
Monthly Minimum: $30.00
Water Included w/ Minimum Bill: 0-2000/gallons
$8.50 per thousand gallons above 2000

COMMERCIAL:
40,000 gallon monthly average
$32.00 for first 2,000 gallons
$10.50 per thousand gallons above 2000
